My family has eaten here quite a bit over the years and always manage to stuff ourselves with hot, tasty Chinese food. Best to go when busy so food is frequently turned over. I have my favorite go-to entrees and am always satisfied in the end. This place has been open for a very long time so that should tell you something. For what it you get a decent selection of hot food, salads and deserts. Not a bad spot at all to bring your family.
I was at China Super Buffet already 2 times. The place looks clean. Food was very plentiful and tasty, well seasoned and fresh. Sushi were pretty but taste was so-so mostly because of avocado wasn't ripe but all rolls had to have avocado for some reason. Ice-cream was watery and tasteless, the worst ice-cream I ever had. The chocolate In fountain was tasteless. Out of all deserts I liked Mimosa salad, it was really tasty For some reason they don't have soy sauce on tables ( only hot sause). Waiting staff was standing in the corner, busy talking and didn't pay attention to customers.
This place has good food. Some other food is overcooked because the food sits too long in the trays, steam tables. If you get to a tray that was recently placed there by the server you will get fresh and good food. The service is good considering it is a buffet, or you can eat. The tables are clean and the waiters will get you water, napkins, and etc., as you need them. This place is really crowded, especially at lunchtime. You may have to wait for a few minutes before you can be seated because of the crowds. This place looks like a busy restaurant in China. The ambience is there for Chinese restaurant.
Best Chinese Buffet in San Diego. It is very clean ! And they offer a variety of options. Definitely a Vegan/vegetarian Friendly place . They have a Mongolian BBQ Grill where you chose what you want and they grill it . You can sit down or cruise around while they cook it &&z when it's ready they ring a bell. The sushi bar is filled with SO MANY options And they also make the sushi fresh!! If you're a pescatarian like myself they have many options as well such as fresh moist salmon fillets, etc.. Hands down the best place . I've been here a few times and Everytime the food is always fresh, and never over cooked/stale, and the service is awesome. The staff are very attentive.
